The UMVA BANK system is the main system for rural organizations to deliver financial products to their community. The system supports the different functions of this organization like customer services, cashiers and tellers, administration, loan officer, managers,agents, board and auditors. All functions are online, realtime and the accounting system is directly integrated. The system is based on new technology but due to the large development efforts the rural organization does not need high educated ICT staff. About 80% of total population is unbanked, the UMVA PLATFORM gives countries the possibility to organize the MFI’s for local transfers, development of new technology, like cards, atm’s, branchless banking, POS, mobile banking etc.
